Crown Frozen Meat Samosa 700g — a classic frozen savoury snack:

Product overview:

These are frozen meat samosas — triangular pastry snacks filled with a hearty spiced minced meat mixture. They’re designed to be cooked from frozen and are commonly enjoyed as an appetizer, snack, or part of a meal in South Asian and fusion cuisines. 

Ingredients:

• Pastry (approx. 30 % of product): Wheat flour, water, coconut oil, milk protein, wheat starch, maltodextrin, flour treatment agent (ascorbic acid), and salt.
• Filling (approx. 70 %): Minced mutton (typically ~55 %), onions (~15 %), potatoes (~15 %), green peas, sunflower oil, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, salt and a blend of spices.  

Texture & flavour:

Once cooked, the outer pastry becomes crisp and golden, while the filling stays juicy and richly spiced, offering a satisfying contrast of textures and savoury aromatic notes typical of classic South Asian samosas. 

Cooking & preparation:

• Deep‑fry: Pre‑heat oil to ~180 °C and fry the samosas from frozen for 6–8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.  
• You can also air fry or bake them (adjust time and temperature as needed), but deep‑frying yields the crispiest result.
• Do not refreeze once defrosted and ensure the filling is hot throughout before serving.  

Storage:

Keep frozen at −18 °C or below until ready to prepare.
